Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Layer half of the cubed brioche at the bottom, scatter cream cheese, then half of the strawberries.
  3. Top with the remaining brioche cubes evenly.
  4. Whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt in a bowl until smooth.
  5. Pour the custard mixture over the layered ingredients and cover with plastic wrap.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to soak.
  7. Let the dish sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before baking.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for another 25-30 minutes.
  9. Let it cool slightly, serve warm topped with remaining strawberries and confectioners’ sugar if desired.
