  • 0.5 cup Cold Milk For biscuit mix
  • 1 tbsp Butter Melted
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Optional, recommended

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add ground beef, and cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Add finely chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes until onions are translucent.
  4. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, black pepper, and paprika, mixing until smooth.
  5. Transfer the beef and sauce mixture to the greased baking dish, spreading evenly.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
  7. Prepare the Cheddar Bay biscuit mix according to package instructions using cold milk, then spoon dollops over the cheese layer.
  8. Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until the biscuit topping is golden brown.
  9. Brush the hot biscuit topping with melted butter mixed with garlic powder, then rest for 5 minutes before serving.
