  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tbsp butter melted

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse the apples under cold water and carefully core them, making sure the bottoms remain intact.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spoon the cheesecake filling into each prepared apple, pressing down gently.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and stir until well coated.
  6. Evenly distribute the graham cracker crumb mixture on top of the cheesecake-filled apples.
  7. Drizzle lemon juice over the tops of the apples.
  8. Arrange the filled apples in a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until tender.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm, ideally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
