Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt 1 cup of unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Add 2 cups of granulated sugar and whisk until smooth.
  3. Add 4 large eggs and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract to the mixture and whisk until thick and glossy.
  4. Sift together 1 cup of all-purpose flour, ¾ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon of salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a rubber spatula until just combined.
  6. Fold in 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips to the batter.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  8. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
  9. Melt the red, green, and white candy melts according to package instructions and drizzle over brownies.
  10. Add mini candy bows or holiday sprinkles for decoration and let set.
