For the Yogurt Base
  • 2 cups 0% fat plain Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt if preferred
For the Crunch
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans can substitute with seeds like pumpkin or sunflower

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small pot, combine diced sweet apples, raw sugar, golden raisins, and 1/4 cup of water. Sprinkle in the cinnamon and nutmeg. Over low heat, cover and simmer for 16-18 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are soft.
  2. Once the apples reach the desired softness, remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
  3. Divide the Greek yogurt evenly into two bowls.
  4. Once cooled, spoon the apple mixture over the yogurt in each bowl.
  5. Sprinkle chopped walnuts or pecans on top for a crunch.
  6. Serve immediately for a delightful meal.
