Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in milk and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour half the batter into the pan, sprinkle half the topping, then pour in remaining batter.
  7. Finish with the rest of the topping and swirl through the batter.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  10. Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
