For the Glaze
  • 1 cup Cranberry Juice Feel free to substitute pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup Orange Juice Fresh lemon juice can also work
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Use tamari for gluten-free option
  • 1/4 cup Honey Maple syrup is a vegan substitute
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Adjust according to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Nutmeg Adjust according to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch Arrowroot powder is a gluten-free alternative
For the Garnish
  • 2 slices Orange Add for extra flavor and presentation

Method
 

Directions
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Turkey - Place the turkey breast-side down on a sturdy cutting board. Cut along both sides of the backbone to remove it.
  2. Step 2: Flatten the Turkey - Flip the turkey over and press down firmly on the breast to flatten it.
  3. Step 3: Make the Glaze - Combine cranberry juice, orange juice, soy sauce, honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a saucepan. Heat and stir until combined.
  4. Step 4: Roast the Turkey - Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Pour the glaze over the turkey and roast for 45-50 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Carve & Serve - Let the turkey rest for 15-20 minutes, carve into portions, drizzle with the remaining glaze, and serve.
