Step-by-Step Instructions for Creamy Cajun Meatball Pasta
  1. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 pound of meatballs, cooking for 5–7 minutes until browned on all sides. Remove meatballs and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté over medium heat for about 3 minutes until onion is translucent.
  3. Pour in 1½ cups of chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Scrape the bottom of the skillet to incorporate any browned bits.
  4. Add 8 ounces of pasta, stirring well. Cook according to package instructions (about 8–10 minutes) until al dente.
  5. Reduce heat to low. Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream and 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  6. Return meatballs to the skillet, stirring gently to coat in the creamy sauce. Stir in ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  7. Plate the pasta warm, garnishing with additional Parmesan or parsley. Serve with garlic bread or salad.
