  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar Adjust if using frozen peaches.
  • 2 cups heavy cream Can substitute with half and half or coconut cream.
  • 1 cup whole milk Almond or oat milk can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Almond extract can be substituted.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Fresh or bottled.

Method
 

Ice Cream Preparation
  1. Peel, pit, and slice the peaches, then sprinkle with sugar and lemon juice.
  2. Blend the macerated peaches until mostly smooth, leaving some small chunks.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together remaining sugar, heavy cream, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Fold the peach purée into the cream mixture gently.
  5. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for 1 hour.
  6. Stir vigorously every 30 minutes for 2-3 hours until fully set.
  7. Serve the ice cream in bowls with extra peach slices for garnish.
