- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat for about 1 minute until shimmering.
- Add 3 cloves of minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté for around 3 minutes until golden and fragrant.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of flour, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, ¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper, and a pinch of salt into the garlic mixture and cook for another minute.
- Gradually pour in 1 cup of half & half while whisking constantly, cooking the sauce for about 3–4 minutes as it thickens.
- If necessary, create a slurry with remaining flour and half & half, stirring it into the sauce for additional thickness.
