  • 8 oz Feta Cheese or ricotta for a milder taste
  • 1 tsp Chili Flakes adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Herbs e.g., parsley, dill
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
For the Dough
  • 1 pkg Phyllo Dough gluten-free option available
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil or melted butter
For the Sweet Drizzle
  • 1/4 cup Honey or maple syrup/agave nectar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Crumble the feta cheese and mix with fresh herbs, chili flakes, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Take a sheet of phyllo dough, brush it with olive oil, and layer with more sheets. Cut into 4-inch strips.
  3. Place a spoonful of the filling at one end of each strip and roll tightly.
  4. Arrange on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. While baking, heat honey with extra chili flakes in a saucepan until melted. Drizzle over the rolls before serving.
