  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 cup Dried Cherries Chopped

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
For the Chocolate Coating
  • 8 ounces Semi-Sweet or Dark Chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil or Shortening Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and unsalted butter until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until combined and thickened.
  3. Gently fold in dried cherries, pecans, bourbon, and vanilla extract into the cream mixture.
  4. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  5. Once firm, shape into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Chill the formed balls for an additional 20 minutes.
  7. Melt the chocolate with coconut oil in short intervals until smooth.
  8. Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated.
  9. Place back on parchment paper and allow chocolate to set.
