Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Halve and core the pears, trimming bottoms for stability and placing cut-side up in a baking dish.
- Dot the cut sides of each pear with butter.
- Roast the pears in the oven for about 20 minutes, until golden and fork-tender.
- While pears roast, combine cranberries and honey in a saucepan over medium heat, cooking until cranberries burst and form a loose compote.
- Fill each pear cavity with goat cheese and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
- Top each pear with the warm cranberry compote.
- Drizzle with honey and optionally sprinkle cinnamon or top with mint leaves before serving.
