Step-by-Step Instructions for Peppermint Swirl Fudge
  1. In a double boiler, combine chocolate chips, butter, and sweetened condensed milk. Stir constantly for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  2. Stir in peppermint extract into the chocolate mixture.
  3. Melt the white chocolate with sweetened condensed milk until creamy, then add peppermint extract and red gel food coloring.
  4. Pour ¾ of the chocolate mixture into a greased 8x8 pan and drop spoonfuls of the peppermint mixture over it.
  5. Swirl the peppermint layer into the chocolate using a skewer or knife.
  6. Pour the remaining chocolate mixture over the swirled layers and top with crushed peppermint candy.
  7. Refrigerate the fudge for at least 3 hours or until firm.
  8. Remove from the pan and cut into squares using a hot knife.
