  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts can be substituted with chicken thighs
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce low-sodium for healthier option

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch arrowroot starch can serve as a replacement
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika sweet paprika can be used
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder adjust according to spice preference
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional for increased spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper preferably freshly cracked
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine can substitute
  • 4 cloves garlic fresh minced garlic highly recommended
  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half for a lighter option
  • 1 cup chicken broth vegetable broth can be used for vegetarian
  • 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste

  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese can substitute with nutritional yeast
For the Ramen Bowl
  • 300 grams ramen noodles fresh is ideal

  • 2 pieces soft-boiled egg omit for vegetarian version

  • 1 sheet nori strips for garnish

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts and marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with vegetable oil. Once hot, add the marinated chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from skillet.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté for about 30 seconds. Slowly pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  4. In a pot, cook ramen noodles in boiling water for 3-4 minutes until tender. Drain and toss with sesame oil. Set aside.
  5. Divide ramen noodles into bowls, drizzle with creamy garlic sauce, and top with sliced chicken. Garnish with green onions, shredded carrots, soft-boiled egg, sesame seeds, and nori strips.
