- Slice the baguette in half lengthwise to create two sandwich pieces.
- Spread a thin layer of butter evenly on the cut sides of the baguette.
- Generously spread fig jam over both buttered sides of the baguette.
- Thinly slice the Granny Smith apples and layer 5-6 slices on one side of the baguette.
- Evenly layer 3-4 slices of prosciutto over the apple slices.
- Layer 3-4 thick slices of brie cheese on top of the prosciutto.
- Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over the cheese layer.
- Gently place the top half of the baguette on your sandwich.
- If desired, grill the sandwich on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Slice into manageable portions and serve immediately.
