Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Slice the baguette in half lengthwise to create two sandwich pieces.
  2. Spread a thin layer of butter evenly on the cut sides of the baguette.
  3. Generously spread fig jam over both buttered sides of the baguette.
  4. Thinly slice the Granny Smith apples and layer 5-6 slices on one side of the baguette.
  5. Evenly layer 3-4 slices of prosciutto over the apple slices.
  6. Layer 3-4 thick slices of brie cheese on top of the prosciutto.
  7. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over the cheese layer.
  8. Gently place the top half of the baguette on your sandwich.
  9. If desired, grill the sandwich on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
