  • 2 cups fresh tomatoes or canned
  • 4 cloves garlic fresh
  • 4 cups broth vegetable or chicken
Noodles
  • 8 oz fideo noodles or cut spaghetti
  • 1/4 cup olive oil for toasting
Garnishing
  • 1/4 cup cilantro freshly chopped
  • 1 unit lime for serving
Seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp oregano dried
  • 1 tsp cumin adjust to taste

Preparation Steps
  1. Blend ripe tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt, and cumin until smooth. Set aside.
  2. In a pot, heat olive oil and toast fideo noodles for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Add the tomato mixture to the noodles and stir for 2 minutes until well combined.
  4. Pour in the broth, bring to a boil, then simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in chopped cilantro and serve hot with lime wedges.
