Preparation Steps

  2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15 minutes to firm up the dough.
  3. Scoop small portions of the dough and roll into balls, placing each on a wax paper-lined baking sheet.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 1 hour to set the snowballs.
  5. Melt 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
  6. Dip each frozen snowball into the melted chocolate using a fork, tapping off excess chocolate.
  7. Warm 1/2 cup of caramel sauce slightly and drizzle over each chocolate-covered ball.
  8. Refrigerate the baking sheet for at least 30 minutes to set the chocolate and caramel.
