Preparation

  3. Combine to Form Dough: Pour yeast mixture into the well, add melted butter and eggs. Mix until a rough dough forms.
  4. Knead Dough: On a floured surface, knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. First Rise: Place dough in a greased bowl and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled.
  6. Roll Out Dough: Punch down the dough, roll it into a 12x18 inch rectangle, about ½ inch thick.
  7. Shape Rolls: Spread softened butter over the dough, sprinkle with the cinnamon-brown sugar mix, roll tightly, and slice into 12 pieces.
  8. Second Rise: Arrange rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes while oven preheats to 350°F.
  9. Bake: Bake the rolls for approximately 25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Prepare Icing: Whisk together powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
