Step-by-Step Instructions for Christmas Salmon
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium frying pan over medium-high heat, combine pomegranate molasses, maple syrup, butter, vanilla, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Continue boiling for 4 minutes until the sauce thickens to a molasses-like consistency.
  5. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet and coat each fillet with the pomegranate sauce.
  6. Bake the salmon for 8-9 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C).
  7. Baste the salmon with any sauce collected on the baking sheet after baking.
  8. Garnish each fillet with pomegranate seeds and rosemary sprigs before serving.
