- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently and let rest for 30 minutes.
- Shape the mixture into 4-6 patties, about ¾ inch thick. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked to medium (160°F).
- In the same skillet, add flour to the drippings, stirring for 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in beef broth and add bouillon cube. Simmer.
- Return the cooked patties to the skillet and simmer in gravy for 10 minutes.
- Plate the steaks and spoon gravy over them, serving with mashed potatoes, rice, or cornbread.
