Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Marinate Chicken: Combine chicken with salt, garlic powder, paprika, curry powder, and Greek yogurt in a bowl. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Sear Chicken: Heat butter and oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the marinated chicken for 4-5 minutes until golden brown, then remove.
  3. Sauté Aromatics: In the same skillet, add remaining butter, minced garlic, and diced onion. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until soft and fragrant.
  4. Make Sauce: Pour in tomato sauce, stir in sugar, salt, black pepper, and extra curry powder. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  5. Add Cream: Stir in heavy cream and mix until thickened, about 3-4 minutes. Keep heat low to avoid boiling.
  6. Combine Chicken: Add seared chicken back into the skillet with garam masala and simmer for 8-10 minutes until fully cooked.
  7. Garnish: Serve hot garnished with fresh parsley or cilantro, alongside rice or naan.
