  • 1 cup Caramel Topping Mix of regular and salted caramel is ideal.
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter Melted for both filling and topping.
  • 1 cup Pecan Halves Substitute with chopped pecans if desired.
Cake Layer
  • 1 box Butter Pecan Cake Mix Or substitute with White Cake Mix.
  • 1/2 cup Melted Butter Combined with cake mix.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 13x9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and mix with brown sugar, caramel topping, and melted butter.
  3. Fold in the pecan halves and pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
  4. In another bowl, combine the cake mix with melted butter until crumbly.
  5. Spread the crumbly topping over the pecan filling in the pan.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
