Ingredients
  

For the Meat & Veggies
  • 1 pound Ground Beef or thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin for a more authentic taste
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 medium Onion yellow or sweet onion recommended
  • 1 medium Green Bell Pepper or red/yellow for a sweeter touch
  • 1 medium Red Bell Pepper more green bell pepper can be used as a substitute
  • 1 cup White Mushrooms optional, can use other mushrooms or omit
  • 2 cloves Garlic fresh minced garlic for best flavor
For Flavoring & Creaminess
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper adjust according to preference
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce can be omitted if unavailable
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese can substitute with ricotta or omit for a lighter version
  • 1 cup Beef Broth replace with chicken broth or vegetable broth if desired
For the Cheese Topping
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese or mild provolone
  • 1 cup Shredded Provolone Cheese replace with white American cheese if needed
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano fresh oregano can be used as a substitute
For Garnish
  • Chopped parsley optional for garnish

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat, add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add diced onion, green and red bell peppers, and mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté for 5–7 minutes until softened. Incorporate minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Stir in salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth; let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat and mix in cream cheese until melted and integrated.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish, top with shredded mozzarella and provolone cheeses.
  7. Bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.
