Ingredients

For the Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Butter Adds richness and flavor; substitute with olive oil for a lighter option.
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic (minced) Enhances overall aroma and taste; fresh garlic is best.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Provides a creamy texture to the sauce; opt for half-and-half or coconut cream for lighter alternatives.
  • 1/2 cup Water Thins the sauce for a better consistency; vegetable broth can add extra flavor.
  • 3 tablespoons Gochujang Adds spiciness and a complex flavor to the sauce.
For the Dumplings
  • 1 package Frozen Soup Dumplings Quick to cook and filled with goodness.
For the Topping
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated) Adds umami and a salty kick; sprinkle nutritional yeast for a dairy-free option.
  • Sage or Chives (for garnish) Provides fresh herbal notes to finish the dish.

Equipment

  • large pot
