Ingredients
  

For the Oreo Crust
  • 24 cookies Oreo Cookies Whole Oreos with cream filling
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter Melted
For the Cheesecake Filling
  • 16 oz Cream Cheese Room temperature
  • 1 cup White Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Hot Cocoa Mix High-quality mix
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder Dutch-processed if preferred
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream Greek yogurt works well as a substitute
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Coconut cream for dairy-free version
  • 1 tbsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 3 large Large Eggs Room temperature
For the Whipped Cream Topping
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Cold
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar Adjust to taste
  • Optional Toppings (Mini Marshmallows, Crushed Candy Canes, etc.) For decoration

Method
 

Prepare the Crust
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Crush Oreo cookies, mix with melted butter and press into a greased 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 11 minutes and cool.
Prepare the Cheesecake Filling
  1. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add cocoa mix, unsweetened cocoa, sour cream, heavy cream, and vanilla until combined. Incorporate eggs one at a time on low speed.
Bake the Cheesecake
  1. Pour cheesecake batter into crust and create a water bath. Bake for 75-85 minutes until edges are set. Cool in oven for 30 minutes.
Chill the Cheesecake
  1. Transfer to refrigerator and chill for at least 6 hours or overnight.
Make Whipped Cream
  1. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until medium peaks form. Spread on cheesecake and add toppings.
