- In a large bowl, gently combine ground chuck, ranch dressing mix, cooked and chopped bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into evenly sized patties, approximately ½ inch thick, and place them on a tray.
- Refrigerate the patties for about 30 minutes to hold their shape during cooking.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat, aiming for a temperature around 375°F.
- Carefully place the patties on the hot grill or skillet, cooking for about 5-6 minutes on each side.
- In the last minute of cooking, place an additional slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to help it melt.
