Step-by-Step Instructions for Kale with Spinach Delight
  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the kale and spinach. Remove thick stems from kale and chop leaves into bite-sized pieces. Rinse and roughly chop the spinach. Peel and mince the garlic.
  2. In a large skillet, pour in the olive oil and place it over medium heat. Allow the oil to heat up for about 2–3 minutes until it shimmers gently.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet, stirring quickly to avoid burning. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the chopped kale, tossing it to coat with the garlic and oil. Cook for about 3 minutes until the kale wilts slightly.
  5. Add the spinach into the skillet and stir continuously for 5 additional minutes until both greens are tender and vibrant.
  6. Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the sautéed greens. Toss everything together to evenly distribute the seasoning.
