Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large pot over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil or butter. Sauté kielbasa for 5-7 minutes until browned, then set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté chopped onion for about 3-4 minutes until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Add uncooked pasta, chicken broth, and heavy cream to the pot. Stir and bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Cover and let simmer for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente and liquid absorbed.
  5. Reduce heat to low and stir in cheese and cream cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Return kielbasa to the pot, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, then stir to combine.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
