Method
 

Oreo Brookies Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350℉ (175℃) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by buttering it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the milk chocolate chips and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Allow to cool slightly, then mix in sugar, eggs, cocoa powder, flour, vanilla extract, and salt. Fold in broken Oreo pieces.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream softened butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Gradually mix in baking soda, salt, flour, and chocolate chips.
  4. Drop alternating spoonfuls of brownie batter and cookie dough into the prepared dish, ensuring even distribution.
  5. Top with additional Oreo halves, pressing them into the batter.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, checking at 25 minutes. If necessary, cover with foil to prevent over-browning.
  7. Let cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing into squares.
