Oreo Brookies Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350℉ (175℃) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by buttering it or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the milk chocolate chips and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Allow to cool slightly, then mix in sugar, eggs, cocoa powder, flour, vanilla extract, and salt. Fold in broken Oreo pieces.
- In a separate bowl, cream softened butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Gradually mix in baking soda, salt, flour, and chocolate chips.
- Drop alternating spoonfuls of brownie batter and cookie dough into the prepared dish, ensuring even distribution.
- Top with additional Oreo halves, pressing them into the batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, checking at 25 minutes. If necessary, cover with foil to prevent over-browning.
- Let cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing into squares.
