Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the breakfast sausage over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks for 8-10 minutes until browned.
  3. Spread bread cubes evenly in the baking dish, then sprinkle cooked sausage and cheese over the bread.
  4. Whisk together eggs and milk in a mixing bowl, adding salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the bread, sausage, and cheese, gently pressing down.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until eggs are set and top is golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven, let rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
