Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil with salt and olive oil. Add chopped broccoli for 3–5 minutes until bright green and tender. Drain well.
  2. In a frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. Cook bacon until golden and crispy, about 5–7 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel to drain.
  3. In the same pan, sauté garlic in bacon drippings over medium heat for 1–2 minutes. Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water in a bowl, then pour into the pan and stir for 10 seconds.
  4. Add broccoli and bacon back to the pan, toss gently for 2 minutes to coat in sauce and meld flavors.
