Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Jumbo Shrimp Deveined, can be frozen
  • 2 pounds Snow Crab Clusters Pre-cooked for convenience
  • 1 pound Andouille Sausage Sliced for cooking
For the Veggies
  • 1 pound Potatoes Quartered red or yellow potatoes
  • 4 ears Corn on the Cob Fresh or frozen
For the Flavor
  • 1 cup Garlic Butter Sauce Rich and aromatic
  • ¼ cup Cajun Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning
Optional Enhancements
  • 4 eggs Hard-boiled Eggs Optional, adds protein
  • 1 can Beer Optional for broth flavor

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. In a large stockpot, fill with about 4-6 quarts of water and add ¼ cup of Cajun seasoning, 2 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning, and 1 can of beer. Bring to a rolling boil.
  2. Add quartered potatoes and sliced andouille sausage. Cook for 10-15 minutes until the potatoes are fork-tender.
  3. Add corn on the cob and cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the corn to absorb flavors.
  4. Gently introduce pre-cooked snow crab clusters and deveined shrimp. Cook for 3-5 minutes until shrimp is pink.
  5. Melt 1 cup of butter in a saucepan, stir in 4 minced garlic cloves and Cajun seasoning. Simmer until fragrant.
  6. Carefully drain the broth and transfer seafood and veggies to a platter. Pour garlic butter sauce over the top.
  7. Serve on a newspaper-covered table for shared, interactive dining experience.
