  • 1 pound Chicken Strips preferably thighs for juiciness
For the Garlic Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be used for a healthier twist
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice lime juice can be used as needed
  • a pinch teaspoon Salt adjust to taste

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, cinnamon, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended, then add the chicken strips, ensuring they're thoroughly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat your grill or a non-stick pan over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes, lightly coat with olive oil.
  3. Place the marinated chicken strips on the preheated surface. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  4. While chicken is cooking, whisk together mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Adjust garlic based on preference.
  5. Remove the chicken from heat and let rest for a few minutes. Slice and serve in warm pita or on plates, drizzled with garlic sauce.
