Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Peel and dice the butternut squash into 1-inch cubes and core the apples, slicing them into bite-sized pieces. Toss them with a pinch of salt, pepper, and optional spices. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for about 20 minutes.
  3. Slice the ciabatta bread into ½ inch thick pieces and brush both sides with olive oil. Toast in the oven for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Spread goat cheese on each toasted slice and top with roasted squash and apple mixture.
  5. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and sprinkle with pecans and cranberries before serving.
  6. Serve immediately to maintain crispiness.
