  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder or fresh minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce can use soy sauce as a substitute

  • to taste Black Pepper
For the Topping
  • 8 slices Provolone Cheese mozzarella, American, or cheddar are good alternatives
For the Rolls
  • 4 pieces Hoagie Rolls whole wheat or gluten-free options available
For Sautéing
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil any cooking oil can be used

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat the skillet by drizzling olive oil into a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Sauté sliced onions and chopped green bell peppers for 3-5 minutes until tender.
  3. Cook the ground beef in the skillet for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Season the cooked beef with garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Reduce heat to low, add provolone cheese, and cover to melt the cheese for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Prepare hoagie rolls by slicing them lengthwise but not all the way through.
  7. Assemble the sandwiches by spooning the beef mixture into each roll.
  8. Serve immediately while warm and melty, optionally garnishing with additional toppings.
