Step-By-Step Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine lean ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, salt, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix gently and form into six patties.
  2. Heat skillet over medium heat, add vegetable oil, and brown patties for 4-5 minutes on each side. Keep warm in a 300°F (150°C) oven.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter and whisk in flour, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to create a roux.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk until mixture thickens. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until creamy.
  5. Return the patties to the skillet, coat with gravy, and let simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
