Instructions
  1. Gather all ingredients including ribeye steak, salt, pepper, heavy cream, garlic, and butter. Prepare your skillet for heating.
  2. Season the ribeye steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Sear the steak for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden and reaching desired doneness.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream, stirring until thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Return the rested steak to the skillet with the sauce, warming it for 1-2 minutes. Spoon the sauce over the steak and garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately.
