Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Spam Kimbap
  1. Cook the sushi rice according to the package instructions until it is sticky yet fluffy.
  2. Sauté the Spam slices in sesame oil over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until crispy.
  3. Lay a sheet of nori on the sushi mat and spread a thin layer of rice over it, leaving a 1-inch margin at the top.
  4. Layer sautéed Spam, pickled radish, cucumber, and carrot on top of the rice.
  5. Drizzle soy sauce on the fillings and sprinkle sesame seeds if using.
  6. Roll the kimbap tightly using the bamboo mat, sealing with water at the edge of the nori.
  7. Slice the roll into 1-inch pieces and serve immediately with pickled radish or kimchi.
