Ingredients

  • 2-3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce use low-sodium for less salt
  • 1 tsp Chili Flakes adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar can substitute with honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil can replace with olive oil
For the Veggies
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets can substitute with seasonal veggies
  • 1 medium Red Bell Pepper can swap with other bell peppers
  • 1 medium Zucchini consider adding julienned carrots
  • 1 cup Mushrooms shiitake or button mushrooms recommended
For the Rice
  • 4 cups Steamed White Rice alternatives include brown rice or cauliflower rice
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil used for sautéing veggies

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and chop all vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Mince garlic and gather sauces.
  2. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Introduce ground beef, brown for 4-5 minutes, then stir in soy sauce, chili flakes, and brown sugar. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  4. In a separate pan, heat olive oil. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds, then add mushrooms and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add broccoli, red bell pepper, and zucchini, stirring for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Assemble bowls with rice, layer ground beef, and vegetables. Drizzle with leftover sauce and serve.
