Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced flank steak with soy sauce and cornstarch; let marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated steak; stir-fry for about 5 minutes until browned.
  3. In the same skillet, add another splash of vegetable oil if necessary, and stir-fry the red and green bell peppers, onion, and garlic for about 4 minutes.
  4. Return the cooked steak to the skillet with the vegetables, add oyster sauce and sprinkle with black pepper; cook for an additional 2 minutes.
