  1. Activate Yeast: Warm water to 105°F-115°F, mix with sugar, sprinkle yeast, let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Mix Ingredients: Blend pumpkin purée, honey, beaten egg, melted butter. Add yeast mixture, stir, then mix in flour and salt until dough forms.
  3. Knead Dough: Knead on medium speed for 5 minutes until smooth. Cover and rest in greased bowl.
  4. First Rise: Let dough rise in a warm area until doubled, 1 to 1.5 hours.
  5. Shape Rolls: Punch down dough, divide into 12 balls, place in greased dish, cover, and rise 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F. Brush tops with beaten egg.
  7. Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and hollow-sounding.
  8. Make Whipped Spice Butter: Beat softened butter with brown sugar and spices until fluffy.
