  • 1 tbsp Sugar Can omit for a less sweet dish.
For Garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine sliced chicken breast with egg white, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Let sit for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and pour in enough oil to cover the bottom. Fry chicken in batches for 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Lower heat and add sesame oil to the skillet. Sauté garlic, ginger, and dried chilies for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in ketchup, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, vinegar, and sugar. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Add the crispy chicken to the sauce and toss gently until coated; simmer for an additional minute.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately with rice or noodles.
