Step-by-Step Instructions for Halloween Salad
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place one mozzarella ball into each silicone skull mold, lightly greasing them if desired. Bake for about 6 minutes until soft, then press the cheese into the molds to form skulls and chill in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add your mixed salad greens. Drizzle in olive oil and squeeze fresh lemon juice, then toss to coat the greens evenly.
  3. Slice the sweet cherry tomatoes in half and scatter over the dressed greens. Gently mix to combine.
  4. Place the chilled mozzarella skulls atop the salad and add sliced fresh basil leaves. Drizzle with more olive oil and balsamic glaze.
  5. Sprinkle flaky sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper over the salad to taste. Serve immediately for the best freshness.
