Method
 

Dough Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, salt, and yeast until well mixed.
  2. Cut in very cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Gradually add milk until a soft dough forms. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Shaping the Kringle
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the dough into a large rectangle.
  2. Spread apple pie filling down the center, leaving space at the edges. Fold sides over and shape into an oval.
  3. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Baking the Kringle
  1. Brush the top with an egg wash. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Adding the Glaze
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes. Prepare the glaze and drizzle over the warm Kringle.
