Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of all-purpose flour, 1.5 teaspoons of salt, and 2 teaspoons of instant yeast. Stir until well blended.
  2. Pour in 1.5 cups of warm water, 2 tablespoons of minced garlic, and 2 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh herbs. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl tightly and let the dough rest at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours.
  4. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C), placing an empty Dutch oven inside.
  5. Remove the hot Dutch oven, drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil inside, and shape the rested dough into a ball. Transfer it to the pot, seam side up.
  6. Cover the pot and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
